Cruise to Bahamas : The Cruise

On 27th July 2012 at 1200, we checked in the Norwegian Cruise “SKY” for a Bahama trip alongwith another private Island on the Atlantic Ocean. It was a 4 days 3 Nights trip. It was my first Cruise experience. Moment we entered, after checked in, we were surprised to see the extravaganza arrangements for everything which may be at par with a five star hotel. In fact it is like a five star hotel on sailing. There are 10 dinning options, 11 Bars/ lounges, Casino, Gift shop, 2 Swimming pools with pool side Bars, Basket Ball, Volleyball courts, Table tennis, Fitness centers, Spa, Kids corner and what not. All sort of enjoyments for all ages were present there but it was difficult to explore all of them in this short span of time. There was no problem in food too because all type of foods were available including some Indian foods (Veg/Non Veg). While having lunch after settling down in our Cabins, found many Asian employees from India, Philippines, Myanmar and China. It is learnt from them that out of 900 hundred employees, about 150 are from India. Most of lady employees found to be Philippines.

Our Cabin with sea side Balcony was quite good for time pass and photography. Sunset and Sunrise photographs are taken from the Balcony which awaits posting in the next parts.

It is difficult to post all photos in one post, it will be done in parts to cover the trip. Hope you will enjoy the best photographs. In this 1st. episode, you will get to see the Cruise (Ship).

We reached Cruise-Port at about 1100AM and the Big luggage were handed to the cruise employees after due tagging with Cabin Nos. The luggage will be sent to respective Cabins. We were welcomed to Ship after due Immigration and handing over the Cabin Key Card cum Credit Card cum Id card.
