Howrah Bridge, an Engineering marvel, of Calcutta spanning the river Hoogly (Branch of Ganges). This is the third largest cantilever bridge in the world. Its construction at a cost of $ 10,000,000 was completed in 1942 and was opened to the public in Feb 1943.This is the land mark of Calcutta (Kolkata), West Bengal, India.
